We’ve just released Suggest Improvements —making it easier for managers to give clear, impactful, and actionable performance feedback.

Once enabled, when writing a manager review, you’ll see a new 'Improve' button. Click it to get AI-generated suggestions based on four core feedback qualities—so you can write consistent, high-quality reviews faster.

What’s New:

  • New Improve button appears next to open-ended questions in manager reviews
  • Suggestions are based on four key qualities: Specific, Impactful, Actionable, and Objective
  • Suggestions are editable and designed to enhance your original feedback—not replace it

SMS Survey Comms Now Available

We’re excited to announce that SMS Survey Comms is officially live! After a successful pilot, with over 43,000 messages sent, this feature is now available for general use. It’s a great way to boost engagement and reach employees who don’t use email.

What’s New:

  • Send survey invites and reminders via SMS
  • Reach desk-less and email-less employees more effectively
  • Improve survey response rates and representation

SMS Comms isn’t enabled by default, as implementation requires a few setup steps. When you're ready to get started, just reply with "Ask a person" in a support conversation or contact your Customer Success Manager to get access. Check out our Send Survey Invitations by SMS article to learn more.

We’ve launched the Goals Progress Report to help Admins quickly understand how goals are tracking across teams—no more digging through profiles or exporting data just to get the full picture.

What’s New:

  • A new in-platform report for Admins
  • Summary view of overall goal progress
  • Breakdown by status: On track, At risk, Off track, Completed
  • Filter by demographics like Manager or Department
  • CSV export option still available
  • Complements the existing Goal Creator Report

We’ve rolled out a fresh set of UX improvements to make managing goals faster and easier for everyone—from employees to Admins. These updates reduce friction, improve visibility, and streamline how you work with goals day-to-day.

What’s New:

  • Expandable list view to see goal details and key results at a glance
  • Bulk update modal to update all key results at once
  • Cleaner layout with better alignment and easier scanning
  • Simplified goal creation—choose goal type in-flow (no extra modal)
  • Create aligned goals directly from the list view and goal tree

Assigned Topics Now Available in 1-on-1s

Admins can now assign discussion topics directly into 1-on-1 manager conversations to help drive more meaningful, aligned, and impactful dialogue across teams.

With Assigned Topics, you can ensure that the right conversations are happening at the right time—whether it's surfacing strategic priorities, reinforcing culture, or checking in on key themes.

What’s New:

  • Admins can assign topics to 1-on-1 conversations based on demographic filters
  • Schedule topics to send immediately or at a future date
  • Track topic delivery, viewing, and engagement with new status options
  • Recall topics if needed, or copy to draft for quick re-use

You can now access a new Vacation Balances metric in People Analytics. This real-time view helps you understand how much time off employees have left—so you can monitor well-being, reduce burnout risk, and make smarter resourcing decisions.

What’s New:

  • New Vacation balances metric now available in the Headcount chapter
  • View the median remaining vacation hours across all employees or specific groups

Goals

Clearer Labels for Orphaned "Group Goals" Now Live

We’ve made it easier to understand where Group Goals came from, even if the original group has been removed to make those goals "Orphaned". Now, you’ll see the name of the old group, so you can keep better track of your goals and stay organized.

What’s New:

  • Group Goals created under a removed group will now show the group’s name with a “(Removed)” label - ie, Marketing (Removed)
  • Replaces the previous “Deactivated group” label

This makes it easier to see where orphaned group goals originated, so you can manage and reassign them with more clarity and confidence.
