Export Collaboration Groups

Administrators can now export collaboration group data into a single CSV file. This update provides a quick way to audit cross-functional teams and ensure the right people are assigned to the correct collaboration groups.

What’s New:

  • CSV Export: Download a report that includes a line for every user, their specific role (Admin or Member), and the total number of users in each collaboration.
  • Easy Access: Find the new Export button directly within the Goals > Collaborations tab.

Richer Insights with AI Comment Summaries for Rating Questions in Coach for Surveys

Coach in Engage just got smarter. It can now use AI Comment Summaries for rating questions, giving you deeper, more meaningful insights when you ask questions about survey feedback.

What’s New:

  • Coach now accesses AI Comment Summaries as a new data source for rating questions.
  • Prompts about survey comments include summarised qualitative insights, not just scores
  • Less manual work—get answers without reading every individual comment

By combining survey scores with AI-generated summaries, Coach gives you a more complete picture of employee feedback and helps you analyse trends faster and with more confidence.

Bulk Goal Creation

The new Bulk Goal Creation tool allows administrators and users with full or scoped goals permissions to quickly assign the same individual or development goal to multiple employees at once, eliminating repetitive manual work and ensuring faster alignment across your teams.

What's New:

  • Self-Service: Instantly create and assign identical goals across your organization without needing a Support-assisted import.
  • Easy Assignment: Select recipients using built-in filters or by uploading a CSV file of active employee emails.
  • Focus: Available for Individual and Development goal types.

Develop

Re-introducing the Development Manager for Development Plans

We're excited to reintroduce the Development Manager role, allowing employees to nominate a dedicated coach (who doesn't have to be their direct manager) to support their growth journey. This update is perfect for complex organizations and ensures your development plans always have the right support.

What's New:

  • Choose Your Coach: Employees can nominate a Development Manager during plan creation or from their Develop overview.
  • Full Context: The nominated manager gains view access to your past, current, and future plans and goals for comprehensive coaching.
  • Clear Notifications: Your Development Manager receives all progress and cycle notifications; if none is set, these notifications fall back to your Line Manager.
  • You're in Control: You can change or remove your Development Manager at any time.

Leader-Based Reporting is Now Available for All Engage Customers

We're excited to announce that we've removed all usage limits on Leader-Based Reporting (LBR), making this powerful feature available to every customer in Engage! Thanks to significant performance improvements, LBR is now a faster, more reliable, and fully scalable reporting solution, regardless of your organization's size.

What’s New:

  • Universal Access: Leader-Based Reporting is now available to all Engage customers with no limits.
  • Faster and More Reliable: We've introduced real-time hierarchy updates and achieved a 95% reduction in data processing time, meaning LBR supports even the largest organizations quickly and accurately.
  • Improved Accuracy: Enhancements to the hierarchy generation algorithm automatically include future managers with direct reports, ensuring more consistent and accurate reporting.

Filter Performance Cycles by Employment Type

We've re-introduced the Employment type filter on the Review Cycle Dashboard to give you more precise control over your performance data. This update helps you quickly zoom in on specific employee groups, like part-time staff or contractors, to analyze their cycle progress and outcomes.

What’s New:

  • Filter by Employment Type: You can now filter any live or closed review cycle by employee characteristics like full-time, part-time, or contractor.
  • Wider Access: This filter is available to everyone running a performance cycle, including Admins and Managers.

We're excited to share that AI Coach in Performance is now available in Beta to any Performance customers who would like to activate it, building on our successful AI Coach in Surveys launch in October.

AI Coach in Perform helps managers synthesise feedback and progress, write quality reviews faster, and have more impactful feedback conversations.

What's New:

  • New Customers with Performance will get AI Coach in Performance by default.
  • Existing Customers can now activate AI Coach in Performance in their account-level Coach settings.

The ability to import calibration ratings is now available. This feature allows Performance Admins and HRBPs to quickly and accurately import bulk rating changes from their off-platform calibration sessions directly into a calibration view for review and publishing.

What's New:

  • Performance Admins and HRBPs can now import rating changes in bulk via a .csv file upload.
  • The import process utilizes the calibration view’s export file to ensure the required structure.
  • Reduces the manual effort of entering calibrated ratings on the calibration view.

Heatmap Survey Comparisons are now live, giving you a clearer, faster way to understand how your latest survey results stack up against past surveys, company data, and benchmarks. No more workarounds or switching between multiple reports.

What’s New:

  • Compare results from past surveys directly in your Heatmap
  • View and export comparison Heatmaps to CSV or image (all columns included)
  • Consistent access for Admin and Shared Reports, if you can see the Heatmap, you can use comparisons
  • Updated UI/UX to support accessible, scalable comparison columns
