Introducing Self-Service SAML/SSO Configuration

Sterling avatar
Shared by Sterling • May 14, 2026

Setting up Single Sign-On (SSO) just got faster. Starting today, all new customers (joined after April 30, 2026) can configure and manage their SAML SSO connections directly within Account Settings.

This removes the need to contact Support for setup, giving your admin team immediate control over secure authentication. Existing customers can expect access to these self-service tools by June, and current SSO connections will remain unaffected.

What’s New:

  • Self-Service Configuration: New customers can now independently set up and manage IdP connections (such as Okta, Azure AD, and Google Workspace) and disable existing login methods if needed.
  • Instant Testing: Use the built-in "Verify" tool to test your connection before going live, ensuring a seamless experience for your employees.
  • Certificate Management: Easily update or rotate security certificates on your own schedule without waiting for manual intervention.
Surveys

Scoped Surveys (Limited) Role for Onboarding & Exit Surveys

Jessie avatar
Shared by Jessie • May 06, 2026

HRBPs can use the Surveys (Limited Permissions) role (formerly Surveys HR Business Partner) with demographic-based scoping on Onboarding and Exit (Lifecycle) surveys, giving them the visibility they need while protecting sensitive data.

What’s New

  • Use Surveys (Limited Permissions) for Onboarding/Exit surveys.
  • Scope HRBPs by demographics (e.g. Department, Country) so they only see individual responses for people in their part of the organisation.
  • Keep admins in control: HRBPs can manage processes and review feedback within their scope, without gaining full survey admin rights.

Goals

Introducing Cascading Goals

Shared by Sterling • May 05, 2026

Cascading Goals lets you link supporting goals to a primary goal, so that as progress is made on the supporting goals, the primary goal's progress automatically updates to reflect the average. No need to manually update progress up the chain; cascading goals stay in sync in real time.

What's new:

  • Automatic progress roll-up — Link supporting goals to a primary goal, and its progress updates automatically as work moves forward.
  • Real-time alignment — Progress flows up your goal hierarchy instantly, so leaders always have an accurate picture without chasing updates.
  • Less manual overhead — No more recalculating and re-entering progress figures by hand.
  • Admin control — Administrators can enable or disable Cascading Goals under Settings > Goals at any time.

  • Demographic Comparisons: Automatically compare qualitative feedback between your top and bottom-performing demographic groups to identify key experience gaps.
  • Customizable Reporting: Central Admins can choose exactly which AI insights to include or exclude when sharing reports with stakeholders.
  • Privacy-First Design: Get the full picture through aggregated summaries while keeping individual comments and raw reports strictly confidential.

Shared by Sterling • April 23, 2026

AI Coach in Performance now draws on Anytime Feedback when helping managers draft reviews. This gives Coach a richer, more complete picture of an employee's performance, going beyond formal review cycles to include the day-to-day feedback that's already been shared throughout the year.

What's new:

  • Anytime Feedback is now included as a data source in Coach, alongside self-reflections, peer and upward feedback, shoutouts, and past manager reviews.
  • Coach synthesizes all of this to help managers write more informed, well-rounded reviews
  • Only the feedback you have permission to view is used. Existing visibility settings are fully respected.

New PCQ Visibility Toggles for Shared Reports

Jessie avatar
Shared by Jessie • April 16, 2026

Introducing more flexibility to the Performance Culture Quadrant™ (PCQ), you can now choose exactly when and with whom you share quadrant insights through your shared reports. This update helps you manage change effectively by allowing HR teams to align on performance culture data before releasing it to the broader organization.

What’s New:

  • Per-Report Toggles: A new checkbox in Standard and Advanced report configurations lets you toggle the PCQ on or off for specific groups.
  • Admin-First Visibility: Admins always see the PCQ in their own reports, even if it is disabled for shared report viewers.
  • Smart AI Coach: AI Coach automatically syncs with your settings; if the PCQ is disabled for a report, Coach reverts to standard engagement logic for that viewer.
  • Default State: To maintain your current experience, the checkbox is checked by default for surveys where PCQ factors are configured.

Greater Control and Clarity for Central Surveys

Jessie avatar
Shared by Jessie • April 13, 2026

Managing large-scale surveys just got a lot more flexible. You can now hand-pick which subsidiaries receive a survey and enjoy a cleaner interface tailored to your workflow.

What’s New:

  • Targeted Publishing: Choose exactly which subsidiaries to include in your survey rollout instead of automatically publishing to all.
  • Streamlined Interface: We’ve hidden non-functional tabs (like Communications and Demographics) to remove clutter and keep your team focused on the tools that matter.
  • Enhanced Admin Experience: Improved UI consistency across both Central and participating accounts to reduce confusion.

These updates put the control back in your hands, saving you from manual workarounds and providing a more intuitive design experience.

What’s new:

  • Flexible Feedback: Admins can now add multi-select questions across all performance units, including self-reflections, peer feedback, and manager reviews.
  • Selection Limits: You can configure selection limits (e.g., "Select up to 3 options") to encourage reviewers to prioritize the most impactful strengths or development areas.
  • Historical Performance Uploads: Multi-select questions can now be added to historical performance cycle imports.

New Account Configuration Role for Technical Setup

Jessie avatar
Shared by Jessie • March 31, 2026

You can now delegate technical account management to IT and Security specialists without granting them access to sensitive survey or performance data. This new role ensures your data stays confidential while giving your technical partners the "Full Permissions" they need to keep your platform running smoothly.

What’s New:

  • Targeted Permissions: Assign a specific "Account Configuration" role to manage technical settings like SSO, Slack/MS Teams integrations, and API tokens.
  • Enhanced Data Privacy: Technical stakeholders can now manage roles and system setups without being able to view employee feedback or performance results.
  • Administrative Control: Account Administrators can easily assign this role via Settings > Roles & Permissions.
