Taking action is a critical part of the survey process and with Action Plans it is now easier than ever to create actions and work on them together.

Action Plans provide a single, centralized place to create, discover, share, progress, and manage action plans across your surveys. And the new Action permissions gives the right people access to manage the process across your organization

What’s New:

  • Progress comes from next steps - Break a plan into action items. Progress updates as items are completed.
  • Plans belong to the team they are for - Aim a plan at a demographic group, and choose who can see it across the organization.
  • One place to see every plan - See each plan, who owns it, and how far it has got across surveys on the new Action Plans Dashboard.
  • Shared ownership and collaboration - Actions can now have multiple owners, and can be shared with your teams. Plus, keep up the momentum through comments on each plan.
  • Start plans easily from every survey - Start drafting actions alongside your survey reports. No separate tab or workflow.

Where are Action Plans available:

  • Action Plans are available on all Engagement packages on both Attributed and Unattributed surveys.
  • Action Plans will be available to surveys that have no previously created actions on the legacy Action Framework. Surveys currently using the Action Framework will remain as they were so in-flight work isn't disrupted. See Move from the Action Framework to Action Plans for details.

Important to know:

  • Survey Creator and Survey Admin (Overall/Support) no longer have admin privileges for Actions. The new Actions role can be assigned for visibility and management. Account Admins have access to action plans by default. See Action Roles for more detail
  • Action Plans and Actions created using the legacy Action Framework cannot be migrated to the new Action plans experience.
